Casus Belli N°33 (2005)

Comme les deux précédents articles du même type, je me suis amusé à reprendre un scénario paru dans la presse française et à le réadapter avec une mise en page cohérente avec ce que je fais habituellement. Je l'ai également traduit pour qu'il soit accessible à plus large public. 

Dans le cas présent, il s'agit d'un scénario paru dans Casus Belli "deuxième époque" en 2005, et qui a la particularité de se situer en Ind, contrée connue mais à peine effleurée dans le développement de l'univers de Warhammer. On l'appréciera ou non, il a été diversement reçu à l'époque, mais il propose quelques éléments originaux. Il était par ailleurs précédé et suivi de deux petits articles consacrés au contexte géographique, historique, social, politique et religieux de l'Ind. Tout ceci est malheureusement peu développé, et mériterait d'être approfondi.

Je me suis beaucoup amusé à refaire la carte, en reprenant la forme de la péninsule qui apparaît sur a majorité des cartes et à y reporter les éléments géographiques de celle présente dans les deux N° de Casus Belli.

J'ai par ailleurs essayé de convertir les profils pour WFRP4, mais étant peu habitué à cette édition, j'ai préféré le mettre pour l'instant de côté car cela retardait la sortie, déjà repoussée à cause de la lenteur de la traduction. Je mettrai probablement à jour plus tard, mais j'aimerais pour l'instant me consacrer à autre chose.

 Like the two previous articles of the same type, I had fun taking a scenario published in the French press and adapting it with a layout consistent with what I usually do. I also translated it to make it accessible to a wider audience. 

In this case, it is a scenario published in Casus Belli "secone ra" in 2005, and which has the particularity to be set in Ind, a known region but hardly touched in the development of the Warhammer universe. One will appreciate it or not, it was variously received at the time, but it proposes some original elements. It was also preceded and followed by two small articles devoted to the geographical, historical, social, political and religious context of Ind. All this is unfortunately not very developed, and would deserve to be detailed.

I had a lot of fun redoing the map, taking the shape of the peninsula that appears on most maps and transferring to it the geographical elements of the one presented in the two issues of Casus Belli.

I also tried to convert the profiles for WFRP4, but as I am not used to this edition, I preferred to put it aside for the time being as it would delay the release, which was already postponed because of the slow translation. I'll probably update it later, but for now I'd like to focus on something else.
